Emma is an artist from Florida, USA, currently living in Barcelona, Spain.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Spanish with minors in entomology, zoology, and education from the University of Florida. Over the years, she has worked as a middle school teacher, a typist, an actress, a barista, a bike courier, and a scientific illustrator at the Florida Museum of Natural History. She speaks English, habla Español, parla Català, and ä¼šè¯´ä¸€ç‚¹ä¸æ–‡.
She especially loves illustrating biodiversity—plants, animals, and fungi—as well as architecture and detailed, scene-level panoramic drawings. She is confident working in 1, 2, 3, 4, or even 5-point perspective, and she enjoys conducting thorough geographic or historical research before beginning a new piece.
Her favorite projects are those that allow her to imagine a future that is more just and equal for all living beings.
