Yoshi was born in Osaka, Japan, in 1974. After visiting more than 30 countries, he decided to settle permanently in Barcelona in 2005. Without any formal artistic training, he chose to dedicate himself fully to his art. His experiences and emotions throughout his life form the very fabric of his drawings.

These, combined with ideas and input from the many interesting people he encounters, create a vast and ever-growing source of inspiration for him. What the future holds remains to be seen — all he can say is that he looks forward to discovering it.

As of 2015, it seems he is still on his journey, beginning to see some color — though only from time to time.
